What's on in September

There's plenty happening round here this September. A farmers market, a Harry Potter day, workshops and more, all across Westhoughton and the surrounding areas, with full details on our events page.

Howfen Farmers Market — Saturday 5th September, 9am–1pm, Kyria Yoga & Wellness Studio

The market returns to 100 Market Street with four hours to come along, have a look around and support local businesses. Entry is just 20p, with all proceeds donated to charity. View The Event.

Always; 25 Years Later, A Harry Potter Experience — Saturday 19th September, 3pm–11pm, Lostock Cricket Club

A day out celebrating 25 years since Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. There's a licensed bar, coffee and ice cream, a bouncy castle, games, face painting, a Sorting Hat, plus a raffle and auction, with tickets at £10 for adults and £5 for children. Organised by Bumby Breast Cancer Care Events, so it's all for a good cause too. View The Event.

Paint and Sip — Tuesday 22nd September, 7pm, The White Horse

An evening of painting at The White Horse, with a pre-drawn canvas and all materials provided, so you can just turn up and get stuck in. View The Event.

Hand-Tied Bouquet Workshop with Popsie — Sunday 27th September, 2pm, Kyria Wellness Studio

A relaxing afternoon learning to create your own hand-tied bouquet from a beautiful selection of flowers. Tickets are £30 and include everything you need, plus a drink and a little treat during the workshop. Spaces are limited, so book ahead. View The Event.

Banner Making — Sunday 27th September, 6pm, The Beer School

Create a banner bespoke to you using felt, pompoms, tassels and more. All materials provided and no experience needed. View The Event.
